Goals
OMV produces and markets oil and gas as well as chemical products and solutions in a responsible way, with Group sales of EUR 24 bn and more than 22,000 employees at its integrated European sites. OMV’s purpose, “Re-inventing essentials for sustainable living,” is the foundation of OMV’s strategy to become an integrated sustainable energy, fuels, and chemicals company, rooted in the 2050 net zero emissions ambition. In 2025 OMV was a leading provider of adv. and circular polyolefin solutions, and a European market leader in base chemicals and plastics recycling. OMV operates 3 refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in UAE. OMV operates 1.708 filling stations in eight European countries. OMV explores, develops, and produces crude oil and natural gas focusing on its three core regions of North, Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and south, and operates a gas-fired power plant in RO as well as natural gas storage facilites in AT and DE.
