Ein innovatives 3-dimensionales Messgerät
| Zusammenfassung | The aim of the project is to develop a proof of concept, innovative three dimension measuring technology. This will result in a totally new type of device which will combine the functions of conventional measuring equipment (such as tape measures, laser distance measures, spirit levels and plumb lines) in a single device suitable for both professional and DIY use. This technology will enable users of the resultant device to make two and three dimensional measurements simultaneously. This will benefit in particular professional users by reducing the time required to take complex and multiple measurements. One person will be able to undertake tasks currently requiring two people, saving costs and increasing productivity. Users will also be able to make “smart” measurements and perform intelligent measurement calculations in completely new ways. The resultant device will also offer greater convenience, being small enough to fit in a pocket and so available at all times. The cost of the device will be lower than that of existing high quality measuring tools, thus making specialist measuring tools available to a much wider market. |
